In the Patch Design view, select the patch configuration. Then on the Advanced tab, select No for the Include Whole Files setting.
You can override this for individual files if appropriate: Select the Latest Setup node. Then in the Include Whole Files area, add files that you would like to include in the patch as whole files, and remove any files that should instead be included as bit-level differences.
