Service not deleted after uninstall

I use the InstallShield standard functionality (under Component->Advanced settings->Services) to create a service. When I uninstall my application, the service isn't deleted although it should.

I configured the following four events for my service:
Install Start
Install Stop
Uninstall Stop
Uninstall Delete

In my oppinion Uninstall Stop + Delete should during an uninstallation first stop a service and then delete it???

In my case this doesn't work! What could be the problem?

Btw. it's a Sybase SQL Anywhere Service 10.0.1 EBF 4075 (dbsrv10.exe)

Have you tried creating a Windows Installer verbose for the installation? It might help to identify the issue.
