Reg keys not fully installing

I created a MSI using InstallShield 2008 Premier Edition

The program is simple: it has 6 files, 1 link, 1 service, 30 reg keys.

I have everything installing correctly except for the reg keys, it installs about 8 out of the 30 keys:eek: . I have tried the MSI on two system one fresh and one that is a test box both get the same set of keys installed. But if I look at the project it shows all the correct keys listed under the Registry in the System Configuration. Is there some thing i am missing?

System: Windows 2003 R2 Standard 64Bit fully patched

UPDATE: I use a .reg file to add the keys to InstallSheld, if i install the MSI with the half reg, and I run the .reg file after the program works.

Thanks,

Eric

Interesting. I have two thoughts:

1) Are you specifying that the target of this installer is a 64-bit OS?

2) Have you done a verbose log to see what is happening when the installer is supposed to be creating those keys?

I made some updates to my project,

I updated Template summary to include x64
I updated all installed components as 64-Bit Component

Seems that the reg keys are now getting added correctly.:)

Thanks jedimaster_mark seems that my problem maybe fixed 😄
