Recompiling InstallScript MSI Project
Hello, I recently switched from a competing product and wanted to know if there are any options in InstallShield for speeding the recompile process? My InstallScript - MSI project is rather large and to the time it takes to recompile the project is not insignificant. To have to recompile the entire project just because I made a very small code change to something in InstallScript is going to be a problem for me.
Thanks in advance!

Depending on your build settings, you might be able to get away with just a recompile (Ctrl+F7, or the -q3 switch to ISCmdBld.exe). The Build menu has some partial-build commands that might be useful for testing, as does ISCmdBld.
