Read a textfile and install only those features in installshield 2008 project

hi all
i am new to installshield . My company uses IS 2008 and i have to enhance .ism file to read a text file and based on that generate check boxes in installshield dialog on the fly. When user cheks those boxes , installshield will install checked features during installation..Can you please tall me how should i start ..any documentation or help is appreciated ..We already have setup.rul in my .ism file but i dont know how to edit the file ..where is the syntex documentation for that language.
