Program icons missing in Vista

Hi all,
I have added icons and shortcuts for my application into my setup project. When I run an install on XP the icons and shortcuts to the app are displayed on the user's desktop and in Start->Programs... However, when I try and run the same project on Vista no icons are shown and the shortcuts don't appear (on either the desktop or the Start->All Programs.... on Vista.


Is there something different that needs to be done to get these to work on Vista?

Perhaps disable UAC and look if it works.
