Product version for setup.exe is showing Installsheild product version
We are using install shield 2009 to build our product, the project type that we are using is an MSI project. Once I build the MSI project it did not show any compilation errors, everything went fine, I was able to build my product successfully.
But, when I open the file properties of setup.exe, to see the product version, it is showing the wrong product version in Windows 2008 SP2, it is showing the install shield version i.e. 9.0.0.0, instead of version what I have given in the General Information section.
In other Operating systems i.e, windows 2003, and windows 2008 R2, the product version is showing correct.
I have also tried install shield 11, this time it is showing 11.0.0.0 (this is install shield 11 version) and not the one which I have given.
Can somebody help me resolving this issue.
Thanks in advance.

In the Releases view, make sure that you select Yes in the Use Custom Version Properties setting on the Setup.exe tab. Please refer to the Customizing File Properties for the Setup Launcher help topic for more information.
