Preventing pre-SP1 Vista installations?
We have a product that works fine on Vista as long as SP1 for Vista is installed.
So it was decided to require SP1 when installing on Vista. Is there some property that would advertise an "OS servicepack level"? On Vista, [VersionNT]=600 [MsiNTProductType]=1, both w/ and w/out SP1 installed.
If not, any suggestions on detecting Vista SP1 & setting an MSI property via a custom action sequenced before the MSI LaunchConditions standard action?
This is a Web (MSI) project type.
Thanks.
