I have a prerequisite that requires a rebot. I can see that a RunOnce key is getting created for the setup.exe, but it is not launching on a reboot. The registry key only has setup.exe and is missing the path to the exe. How can I be sure my setup will restart after a prerequisite requires a reboot?
If you are calling setup.exe from code (or batch file), please call it with the full path to the setup.exe; this is a known issue being tracked under IOC-000063264. There is some further discussion on it at http://community.installshield.com/showthread.php?p=393502
