Possible
Is it possible to trigger an event other than using a pushbutton, checkbox or radio button?
Example, normally the DoAction event (to call a custom action for example) is triggered with one of the above controls.

According to the MSI "DoAction ControlEvent" help topic, only PushButton, CheckBox, and SelectionTree controls support that kind of event. The topic "ControlEvent Overview" has a bit more information about what's supported by default.
