Patch Fails Due to MDAC 2.8 Error
Hi,
I'm getting an issue when running a patch created in Installshield 2010. The patch fails with the following error dialog:
MDAC 2.8 cannot be installed on this machine. MDAC 2.8 requires any one of the following configurations:
...
...
I have no idea why this error dialog is showing as it does not display during the normal install and does not display when the patch is run with administrative privileges.
I've pasted the relevant section from the patch log file below. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I could prevent it?
Thanks in advance,
Graham
