Passing custom parameters from the command line during installation
This is my first project with InstallShield 2013 Limited Edition and Visual Studio 2012 (VB.Net). Is there a way to pass custom parameters via the command line during the installation process? Basically, I need to pass a value during a silent install so that I can write that value to a configuration file used by the application. I've looked all over the place but I just can't seem to figure it out. If it makes a difference: I'm attempting to do this with a SingleImage build.

Hi,
Could you please tell me what custom parameters are you trying to pass through the command line?
If it is the windows installer properties, you may pass the parameters through silent install.
Thanks,
Chaitra
