Package specific icons
I'm creating a basic MSI project for software that has a diffrent exe for diffrent packages. I need a way to make it so that when you install a single package only the icon for the exe that's in that package is put on the start menu.
Explination:
|Installation Architecture|
|_Core Files
|_XP and Later Systems
|_Intel64/AMD64
|_Intel Itanium
Those are the packages. In each package there is a seperate executable
Expination:
|Core Files|
|File1
|File2
|Exe1
|XP and Later System|
|File1
|File2
|Exe2
And so on. I hope that makes sense.

If I understand the question: assuming your "packages" map to features, if you associate each shortcut with the same component carrying the matching executable, what you describe should happen automatically.
