PROGRAM NAME does not appear in the Windows installation Database, program exiting...
IS 2012 Pro project. Everything builds and installs all files and registry settings, get to final dialog to launch program, and get the error "PROGRAM NAME does not appear in the Windows Installation Database, program exiting ..." Attempt to launch from installed exe file - same error. This is on multiple Win7 machines. Can find nothing in searches referencing this kind of error anywhere. Nothing logged in Event Viewer. One thing noticed is program is now named "PROGRAM NAME XYZ" and at one point was named "PROGRAM NAME", and the error is showing PROGRAM NAME instead of PROGRAM NAME XYZ. (??) I have searched through the project and cannot find anything with that reference, have even used ORCA to search the "ism" database and can not find reference to just "PROGRAM NAME". Any ideas?
