I am trying to figure out how I might overwrite files in an installscript (installshield 2009). I have seen some references to a Overwrite file setting. Where exactly is this. If I go to Application Data-> Files and Folders and the right click a file a get just a basic properties window with a single general tab, it has greyed out attributes for readonly, archive, system etc. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Overwrite options for files in InstallScript projects are controlled per component. The Overwrite setting is available on each component in the project from the Components or Setup Design view.
