Not clear on Web Service installs
I created a web service in VS 2008 using the Web Service template. The service works fine but it's a class libarary (.DLL). I'm writing an installation to install a web application and the web service, but I have a problem.
According to the IS 2010 Help topic "Installing, Controlling, and Configuring Windows Services", it says the service must be an .exe file, because of the Windows Installer.
This may be off-topic, but can someone point me in the right direction for creating an .exe web service?

The help is refering to a true Windows (NT) Service; not to be confused with a web service.
