Not able to update ISDev8 project with IS2008 project.

We have an IS project for one of our products that was converted to InstallShield Developer 8 (ISDev8) in the past and now is converted to InstallShield 2008 (IS2008) for the newest build of the product.
The project is converted by simply opening the ISDev8 project with IS2008.

When we use the setup created with IS2008 to upgrade a product that was installed through a setup created with ISDev8 the new files are not installed/copied.

Please help! What are we doing wrong?

I have attached a zip archive containing two projects. An ISDev8 project for product ProfileW v2.4 build 033 ('ProfileW.exe'=='Notepad.exe') and an IS2008 project for product ProfileW v2.4 build 056 ('ProfileW.exe'=='WordPad.exe').
When we first install ProfileW v2.4.33 and then use ProfileW v2.4.56 to upgrade, the ProfileW shortcut on the desktop is still opens notepad instead of wordpad.

It doesn't look like you used the Upgrades view in your InstallShield 2008 project. You'll want to add an upgrade item in that view to identify the earlier release (the one built with Developer 😎 that you want to upgrade. The "Updating Applications" section in the InstallShield Help Library has more information.
