Creating an MSI to wrap several other installation MSIs but when I call the nested MSI with it's command line parameters set in the custom action I read in the MSI log that the the value for INSTALLDIR is set and then nearly immediately is set back to the caller's INSTALLDIR. Is this known? Can you not set the installdir on a nested MSI?
Also, when I canceled the install when it was partially completed it left a registry entry for the MSI that was currently being installed. I tried to uninstall it using the actually MSI, but it would open and then immediately closed. I was forced to find and delete the entries out of the registry.
