Need Clarification

Hi all,

I want to know if we can make any installer as re-runnable. Lets say I have an installer with two features. If the user selects one feature only at the time of installation. Is it possible to install the second feature with our re-installing the first feature at a later point of time? If so, can anyone please let me know how to achieve it. Thanks in advance.

I think you're describing what can already be done with maintenance. Typically re-running the installation will allow you to modify the set of features that are installed. In the case you described, you could add the second feature. It's also possible you're describing something like multi-instance installs, but I would avoid if possible; it adds a lot of complexity and thus a lot of potential failure points.
