In the coming weeks I will need to move my InstallShield 2012 Spring to a new PC. A search of this site turns up nothing on the subject (at least not with the parameters I used).
Basically. I think I need to uninstall from my existing machine... but I think there are some gotchas... like a requirement for some ports to be open so that the uninstall can report to Flexera. What about my prereq folders? Copy them off? Anything else?
Certainly that information is here somewhere. Can someone point me to it so that I don't have to go through a lot of grief because I missed a step? Thanks!
