Move files from install dir during install and put back if install fails

My problem is a simple one. The previous designer of our installer placed every file into the install directory and every dll. This means that customers have software they should not and dll's they do not need.

I want to move these to a new folder (just incase there is a need for any) during the install, but incase of a problem i want them to move back during the unistall.

Can any help me with this little problem.

What type of project? If MSI, you might look into editing the MoveFile table in the Direct Editor view; the MSI help library has more information.
