My InstallShield project incorporates Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 Redistributable installation into my program installation. On some, though not all, maintenance updates, the installer attempts to install the redistributable project even though it is already installed. This fails, confusing the customers that see this behavior. Once the behavior starts it continues at every update installation.
