.MSI package, Vista with UAC enabled, Fails in CA(wmfdist.exe)
Hello Everybody
I have a .MSI based Installshield setup, Setup fail while Installing on Windows
vista, with UAC enabled ( Works perfectly fine with UAC disabled ),
i have a CA {Launch as EXE, Installed with product, ) excuted after Install files in "Install Exec Sequence" Exe is "wmfdist.exe", setup gives error
as
"Error 1721.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: Installwmfsdk, location: C:\Program Files\MyProduct\Component1\wmfdist.exe, command:"
And there is binary available at specified location

What is the required execution level for your setup? You may need to require administrative rights... Also, what does this exe do? If it modifies the target system, you may need to set the CA's In-Script Execution to "Deferred Execution in System Context" (required when modifying files on Windows Vista with UAC). These are some of the things I'd try first...
