MSI Patch uninstall Issue.

Hi there,
I am seeing some strange behavior with a patch I authored. I have an Install that puts some files on the computer and has a registry that points to the InstallDir. If I install the primary release (Basic MSI) to say D:\My Install and then install the MSP it updates the files, and the registry is still pointing to the d:\My Install, however when you uninstall the patch, it rewrites the registry to point to c:\test\my install, which was the default path.

I am really confused with this and any help will be appreciated.

The issue was that the registry for the original release didn't have a Key Path set in the registry.
