The value of LocalAppDataFolder is empty if In-Script Execution is deferred or rollback.
I could see the complete path of LocalAppDataFolder fine in Immediate execution.
Am I missing something?
To recreate have a install script custom action pop up a messagebox with LocalAppDataFolder value. If the CA is in mmediate execution I could see the path, but not if the CA is in any of the other modes.
To get (almost) any property in deferred mode, you'll need to go through CustomActionData; searching the help and these forums for "CustomActionData" will explain what's going on.
