Language to be used for writing customised beans
Hi All,
We are using Install Shiled 10.5 . Now we are planning to move to Install Shield 2008. Some of our customized beans are wrtitten in Java. So my query is:
Would I be able to use the same beans in Install Shield 2008 also?
or
Do I need to rewrite all the beans in JScript itself?

Are you using a Universal project in InstallShield 10.5? InstallShield 2008 doesn't have support for that type of project. It has support for only Windows-based systems. InstallAnywhere would be the product you'd want to use, since it has multiplatform support. I recommend posting your question in the InstallAnywhere community forum:
