Key Files / Component Wizard

When I use component wizard to install a folder (with all the files and subfolders) It correctly designates .dll's and .exe's as key files but it then makes the last non dll\exe in the folder a key file as well. I was under the impression that when there is no .dll or .exe file in a folder then the folder itself should be the key so that if the folder is removed all the files in there will be restored. Am I under the wrong impression here? If the last file is the key file then only that file will be protected, no? Sorry if these are dumb questions but I am new to windows installations (used to work solely in UNIX). Any help and or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

There's some debate over whether a set of non-PE files installed in a single component should have an arbitrary key file or no key file. You are welcome to change this by removing the key file (or setting a different one) after running the component wizard.
