Java 8 update - is required for Install Shield 2015 SP2 and 2018 R2

Hello Team,

We have used Install Shield 2015 SP2 and 2018 R2 for our applications. In the application server we have found Java 8 update. 

Could you please confirm, is't consumed by Install Shield? In case, if we un-install the update,

Installshield as an application itself does not install Java. In addition Installshield by default will not create installers that contain Java unless the user has chosen to do so.

It is possible that you have created an installer using Installshield which includes Java and it is this that you are seeing.
