Is there any difference for string importing between Installshield 2008 and 2011?
Dear all
I imported a few tab delimited txt files from some translators (Simplified Chinese, German, Czech) into a IS2011 project. But I found Czech and Simplified Chinese strings in the ISM file are corrupted.
All these txt files use ANSI codepage. I tried them with IS2008 and found the results are OK.
For the same Simplified Chinese string, the string entry in ISString table from ism file of IS2008 project (it is correct, seem to be encoded with uuencode):
"/^"69QG?T\H=89.69<!8"``20!0`"``,%=`5PS_]XN3CV51Y8L@`$D`4``@`#!70%<)_P``
the string entry in ISString table from ism file of IS2011 project (corruption, seem to be directly decoded with ANSI codepage 1252):
£¨Èç¹ûʹÓÃÁ˾²Ì¬ IP µØÖ·£¬ÇëÊäÈë¸Ã IP µØÖ·£©
Does anyone have idea about it? Thanks a lot!!
