Is there a way to install and unzip a zip file in Basic MSI Project

Is it possible to install a zip file then unzip that file and execute a .bat file from that zip using a Basic MSI Project?

The zip file is nothing more than another file, the hard part is the unzipping. What program do you use? Why use the .zip file at all. Unzip them to a folder before building the install package and run the bat via a deffered custom action. I believe the installer compresses what files it can.
