Is it possible to create our own properties for the setup file created by IS?
We are using a installscript project with IS 2009.
Is it possible to create our own properties for the setup file created by installshield.
When we now click on the created setup file and choose properties and check the version tab we see the properties of installshield itself.
We'd like to change the following properties here:
version
description
copyright
but also the itemnames of the extended version information.

One of the new features in InstallShield 2011 is the ability to use custom information for the Setup.exe properties. So, if upgrading to InstallShield 2011 is an option, you might want consider that. Here's a help topic that has more information:

There are plenty of resource modification tools available to modify your file properties. Just note that when you modify the resource on your built .exe, digital signatures are invalidated. You will have to re-sign your setup.
