Is it possible to call a managed code custom action from InstallScript?

I have a InstallScript MSI project. Is it possible to call a managed code custom action from InstallScript?

Some follow-up [thread=189326]here[/thread]. There's also MsiDoAction, if you really want to trigger a custom action (defined in the CustomAction table) and not call the external code directly.
