Is Compress Script option available in MSI project Type
In the Installscript project type there is an option called "Compress Script" in the Releases view under the Build tab.
Does anyone know if such an option is available in the Basic MSI project type?
I would like to be able to choose not to compress my scripts.

The compiled setup.inx script is not included as a separate file in Basic MSI projects that use InstallScript custom actions as it would be in pure InstallScript projects. The compiled script is always streamed in ISSetup.dll which itself is then stored in the Binary table (this is required in order for InstallScript custom actions to run without installing files on a target machine). As a result, no option is provided to not include the script as a compressed file.
