Installshield object, any way to install (or not) on a per platform basis?
Hi!
I was wondering if there is a way, with a old style (non-MSI) Installshield project to decide to install Installshield objects depending on the OS the application is getting installed on?
I need to make sure the the DAO 3.6, Jet 4.0 and VB6 objects are installed on all platforms EXCEPT Vista which already comes with them but I don't see any option bind their installation to the OS?
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
Does the lack of replies mean it is not doable?

can't you retrieve the major and minor version of the OS where you're running your setup on.
Each OS has a specific major and minor versionnumber.
Check http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa370556.aspx
Related on the retrieved information you can launch the redistributable you want...
