Installing WS_32.DLL - Is there any way?
Hi
We have a component written in VS2005 and uses:
MS XML 4.0
VC++ 8
Windows Sockets
This application needs to be deployed on Windows 2000 and Windows XP - we are not supporting older platforms.
The first two dependancies we have we have got merge modules, but the last one we dont.
So the software installs fine on XP but not on 2000 as we dont have the latest version of WS_32.dll
Does anyone have any ideas how we can get round this?
Thanks in advance
Sarah

What type of project are you using? If MSI or InstallScript, you might have better luck posting to the specific product (and project-type) forum...
