InstallShield v/s InstallAnywhere
Hi,
I'm new to Installshield forums.
I'm currently using InstallAnywhere7.1.3 for creating our product installers which supports multiple platforms. I though to have a look at InstallShield, but there seems to be lot of sub-categories in InstallShield like "InstallShield Windows", "InstallShield 12 Express", "InstallShiled MultiPlatform", etc...
So I think since my requirement is that I should be able to create installers for multiple platforms, "InstallShield MultiPlatform" is the right product for me. Am I correct?
Also, I just would like to know what advantages InstallShield have over InstallAnywhere?
Thanks..

InstallShield Multiplatform is on its way out, if you are familiar with InstallAnywhere I would upgrade to the newest version of that. Macrovision now owns InstallAnywhere and that is why MultiPlatform is going away in the future.

There are quite a few other software out there allowing one to make installers, just take a look at the list available here: http://www.appdeploy.com/
