InstallShield Application Crash

When creating shortcuts, InstallShield 2009 sometimes crashes. An error dialog is displayed with the following properties;

Title: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Text: Runtime Error! Program: D:\Program Files (X86)\InstallShield\2009\System\isdev.exe

abnormal program termination

System Information:

Windows XP Pro X64 SP2 2GB RAM

I get the exact same error message when I am trying to do a build. Help would be greatly appreciated!
