I just downloaded and installed InstallShield Limited Edition 2015 for VS2013 but when I try to add a setup project to my solution I get the following message "Creating project 'Setup'... project creation failed". I also try closing VS2013 and InstallShield and run the repair but still get ".... project creation failed" My PC: Windows 7, 64-bits, VS2013 and Team Foundation. Please help
I saw something similar when I first launched a second copy of VS while having the original one open. The project template was something like "Configure InstallShield Limited Edition." After closing all copies of VS and relaunching, I was able to create a project.
Do you have an InstallShield LE menu item in VS? If so, what options are under it?
I closed all copies before clicking OK for "create a new InstallShield Limited Edition project" but it could not create a project. The VS doesn't show anything (no InstallShield menu item) except the line "Creating project 'Setup2'...project creation failed" in the left corner of the screen.
