I am generating also a self extracting exe with my build. IS 2012 goes to the last step of creating the exe but the building does not stop, it continues to say "Creating self-extracting exe..." The exe itself is created. Can someone help me with this ?
hi can you please provide some more information on what you wanted to achieve ? what type of project is it ? MSI or InstallScript projects.... you wanted to create a self extracting setup.exe is it ?? or something else ?
Yes, I use an IS2012 Installscript project and have the release build setup like this that a single exe file is created containing all the setup files. IS never stops building the exe, the UI locks up. Your advice is welcome.
