IIS Authentication Methods
Using InstallShield 2011
When I setup the Security part of the "Web Sites" part to "Basic Authentication" it leaves it as:
- Enable anonymous access and
- Integrated Windows authentication
which are the default settings for the website root. Any way to force this to not take the parent's settings?
We've been using Installshield 2008 and setting these properties with a Visual Basic Script with no problems but are trying to get away from it and using the IIS part in Installshield.
Thank you

After you setup "Basic Authentication", how do you set up:
- Default Domain:
- Realm:
See my previous question's screenshot.

If you are using IIS 6, it looks like you can go to the virtual directory configuration screen in I.S. and click on "Other IIS Properties" and set a value for the DefaultLogonDomain property. However, this gets ignored in IIS 7.
Does anyone know how to get this to work in IIS 7?
