How to run another .exe or .msi file from support file folder?
Hi. I am new to Installshield. I tried many days to google how to do this, but all failled. I created a basic msi project. Add a folder in Support Files--Disk1. In that folder, there is example test.exe, and also other subfolders what are needed when run test.exe. How do I make a Custom Actions to run this test.exe? Thank you a lot if you can help me out there.
Ideally your custom action needs to pick the file from SUPPORTDIR property and launch it as usual say an EXE custom action or LaunchAppAndWait in InstallScript.
