How to overwrite files
Greetings,
I created a simple “InstallScript MSI Project” with single component with “Dynamic File Linking”. I’m facing a strange problem here: it’s appeared that by some reason linked files not being copied-over any existing file. And I can’t find any option like “always overwrite” neither in component’s properties nor in “General” settings.
So does anyone knows how to always overwrite existing files with those-ones, which were included into the installer?
Best regards…

Looks like You've missed the "Dynamic File Linking" part in my message.
There is no such thing as a "file properties" in this case...

It sounds like you need to select the previous package in the Previous Package setting on the Build tab for the release in the Releases view. For more information, see the following help topic:

But, in general, I have no previous package.
Actually I need something like that "always overwrite" check-box from "static linking" in case of the "dynamic linking".
As I'm beginning to understand -- there is no easy way to do so... 😞
