How to modify strings and text in 'Choose setup lang.' and 'Preparing Setup' dialogs?

Can anyone please tell me how to Modify default strings and text in 'Choose setup language' and 'Preparing setup' dialogs displayed immediately after running the setup.exe.?
I'm a beginner but i'm not sure that is possible to modify these string !
For one of your program you must to change the first dialog of installshield (choice language setup) and for to do that, i have create a project with vb6 with others functionnability on this dialog and when the user click on the exe, he enter some informations and i launch the exe with some parameters.
To change those strings you can try to edit the Configuration Settings file which are found at \IS2008\Support\. To each language corresponds a file. For example if you want to modify the english US language file you will need to modify the 0x0409 file. Just modify and save them. In this file you can find the strings "Choose Setup Language" and "Preparing to Install"
