How to modify "Permanent" attribute at runtime
Hello,
I have some components (configuration files) marked as permanent.
So when user have to remove product , this files are preserved.
Now, I want users to be able to choose between keep or remove this files when they are removing product.
In the "Ready to remove" Dialog box, I have added a check box that set a property.
I thought the best way to remove this files is to change the "permanent attribute" with a custom action when the property is set.
My questions are:
- is is the best way to do that?
- if yes, could I have some help to write th custom action?
- if no, how can I do?
My project is basic MSI
Thanks in advance
Stéphane
