How to install minor versions side by side on a targe machine?

Hello, I have a install project that can manage to have version 3.0 and 4.0 cowork on a target machine, but when I install version 4.2 on a machine that already has 4.0, the installer prompts for an update. Do you have any clue for making 4.2 installed side by side with 4.0?

You don't say what kind of project you're using, but you should be able to enable this kind of side-by-side installation between 4.0 and 4.2 the same way you do 3.0 and 4.0; there's no strict rule that you must have the same product code GUID for all versions with the same major version number...

Change the product code in the product property would make the minor version an independant application, so that it could coexist with other versions.
