How to distinguish between XP 64bit and Server 2003 64bit
One of my products should be only installed on windows server 2003 operating systems. For this I evaluate the MSI operating system properties VersionNT64, VersionNT and WindowsBuild. The values for this properties are the same for Windows XP 64bit and WindowsServer 2003 64 bit. Means
Property(C): WindowsBuild = 3790
Property(C): VersionNT64 = 502
on both operating systems.
Is there an other possibility to distinguish between these two operating systems ?

Hopefully I find a solution: I think the property MsiNTProductType will help me distinguish the operating system types.

Yes, MsiNTProductType is the suggested property to use for this differentiation.
