How to chang the UI pic while installer preparing.
I have built a basic MSI project with InstallShield 2008.
I just wanna change the Install UI images to my own ones.
What I did is making the changes by Project Assistant-> Installation Interview->Use custom images on dialogs.
But it can only change the UI images in install process and cannot change the UI image while installer prepare InstallShield Wizard(the first dialog when you used setup.exe to install).
Anyone have idea that how to change it?
Thanks a lot!

Check the themes at the following location:
C:\Program Files\Macrovision\IS2008\Support\Themes
You can't add a theme (at least not in the proffesional version of 2008, I think you can on the premier version) but you can modify one of the existing themes to display your pictures.

Thanks!
I tried that method.
It is not convenient but works!

I was able to replace that first dialog with a custom bitmap to Behavior and Logic > Support Files > Splash Screen > English (United States).
In the user guide, look for Splash Screen under "Support Files View (Basic MSI, InstallScript Object, and Web Projects)"
