How to catch Upgrade event in InstallScript MSI
Hi
It seems that my prevous thread has died, I get no response on that thread.
I can't catch an upgrade event in InstallScript MSI project. Should it not be possible.
Does anyone no how to get in contact with macrovision, I need to no if the solution I try to achieve is possible, or if there is an error in the InstallShield 2008?
Regards Søren

If this is a minor upgrade, the OnResumeUIBefore and OnResumeUIAfter events will run. For minor/small upgrade patches, the OnPatchUIBefore/OnPatchUIAfter events run. For major upgrades, no unique event is run. The OnFirstUIBefore/OnFirstUIAfter events will run. To determine if a major upgrade is running, check to see if the value of the major upgrade action property (the name of this property is stored in the major upgrade item in the Upgrades view) is not empty.

Thanks
It seems to be a solution for me. I will test it today.
