How exactly uninstall is done?
Suppose i have install a minor upgrade over a RTM
How exactly WIS uninstall the RTM and the upgraded files(assuming minor upgrade add new files and new components)
Does windows installer cach the minor upgrade package?
Does windows installer keep traking of all files(installed by rtm and minor) belogns to a product?

Correct: the minor-upgrade process---in particular, the "v" setting included in REINSTALLMODE---re-caches the new MSI database. To assist you, the InstallShield upgrade validation process can warn you if any data will be orphaned by the minor-upgrade process.
