How does upgrade works
Hi,
How does an upgrade works in the installshield ? Does it uninstalls the previous version and then installs the new version internally. I have a problem during the installation of my product into a machine that already has an older version of the application. When i run the setup file, it asks whether an upgrade should be performed. On confirmation, it starts installing the application. But when i try to run my application, i get an MSI file not found error.
Below is the error that our client faces. A portion of the email our client had send.
"I installed the new version but when I tried to start the application I got
a message that the "TaskArchitect 2.msi" file could not be found"
Please help
Thanks in advance
